Interiors
Haberdashery is a drapery fabrication workroom
with production facilities. We are located off the beaten path
in Stamford’s historic South End district. Our building, once
a factory dormitory, is now a display of the firm’s style and
creativity. While retaining the building’s original utilitarian
exterior, the spacious interior has been reborn as a case study
in possibilities.
The
owners, Paul Guzzetta and Philip Shortt, both successful fashion designers, have displayed their
creativity on fashion runways from New York, to London and Paris
for prestigious houses like Yves Saint Laurent and Valentino.
Now, they bring their experience, plus a wealth of haute couture
style, construction techniques, and artistry, to the world of home
décor. Their sense of style operating at two levels, bold “big picture”
impact followed by inventive construction details, sets their designs
apart from the mainstream. With vast experience in all phases of
fabric, garment, and home furnishing production, the result is assured
to surpass expectations.
For more than fifteen years, Interiors Haberdashery has been the
workroom of choice for some of the most exclusive interior designers
on the east coast. Completed projects range from five star hotels
to private residences in the United States and Europe. Our experience,
combined with real-world knowledge and access to global resources
